Best Exercise to Build Bigger Butt Muscles (Glutes)

Building bigger butt muscles is a topic that is interesting to both men and women, although sometimes for different reasons. For bodybuilders, it’s an important muscle to balance the proportions of the upper and lower body, and it’s also the biggest muscle in the body, which means it has the highest energy expenditure and you burn more calories working the glutes than any other muscle in the body. Some people, especially women, might be interested in enhancing their butt because big butts have become very fashionable and desirable (think Kim Kardashian, J-Lo, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, and of course the bootylicious Beyonce). Weighted Hip Bridge 

Sit on the floor with your back against a sturdy bench, knees bent, with a heavy weight across your hips. Squeeze your glutes to lift your hips until your torso and thighs are in line and parallel with the floor. Slowly lower back down to the floor. Make it more challenging by balancing just one leg! And remember, heavy weights = more muscle growth.
