Best Butt Exercises To Do At Home
At home workouts are a great way to improve your fitness without having to spend money on a gym membership, and without having to buy any new equipment. They can be done almost anywhere, so don’t be afraid to take them outside and incorporate them into your morning jog!
Begin on your hands and knees. Your arms should be straight and hands directly under your shoulders, and your knees should be directly under your hips.
Raise one leg up behind you, keeping it bent at a 90 degree angle. Squeeze your glutes to lift it as high as you can while keeping your back flat. Slowly return your leg to its starting position.
Do 12-20 reps, then switch legs and repeat on the other side. To make this move more challenging, you can do several quick pulses at the top of the move, or use an ankle weight or small dumbbell tucked behind your knee.
Walk the Dog
Begin in the same position as the Donkey Kick.
Squeezing your glutes, raise one leg out to the side while keeping it bent at a 90 degree angle until it is level with your hips, like you are a dog at a fire hydrant (hence, the name!).
Do 12-20 reps, then switch legs and repeat on the other side. To make this move more challenging, you can do several quick pulses at the top of the move or use an ankle weight.
